Metro Swimming Competition
The Liemar sisters, Milli in Year 5 and Seanna in Year 6, competed in the Metro Swimming competitions last Thursday. Both girls were selected to represent the North East District SAPSASA team after they finished at the top of their strokes in the previous SAPSASA carnival.
Milli came first in Freestyle, first in Butterfly, first in her relay and second in Breaststroke. Seanna got a silver medal for her relay.
Well done girls, you have represented our school with pride and shared your talents with the wider district in a way that glorifies our God!
State Individual Championships
Dillon Hong competed in the State Individual Championships last weekend, alongside his older brother Ashton, who was with us in Year 6 last year. The athleticism displayed by these brothers has shone out amongst their peers yet again!
Dillon's results were;
Long Jump - Gold Medal / State Champion
Triple Jump - Gold Medal / State Champion with a new personal best
100m Finals - Bronze Medal with a new personal best
200m Finals - 6th placeThese are fantastic results, Dillon! Well done.
