Year 6 Ankara Trip

After a rollercoaster adventure of Covid restrictions coming and going, Year 6 had to reshape their graduation camp at the Ankara Campgrounds to an extended excursion. On Monday, we packed our bags and travelled on the school bus all the way to Walker Flat. The sun was shining, birds were singing and the River Murray was welcoming us with a fantastic temperature! We spent the day playing in the boats, behind the boats, in the river, on kayaks and on the inflatable obstacle course. We finished our day with a talk at the lookout and thought about the year we have just experienced, and how good it is to have friends around us during tough times. We'd like to say a special 'Thank you!' to Anthony Davis and the Wegener family for letting us use their boats, and also to Mr Borresen for all the support he showed, making sure we were able to have a day away.

Choir

Last week, the Prescott Primary Northern Choir and Band lead out for the Chapel programs. They presented 'The A-Z of Christmas'. It told the story and meaning of Christmas from A right the way through to Z. 

The audience were invited to sing along with the many well-known carols which were scattered throughout the program and sing they did! 

The final song, Joy to the World, almost lifted the roof off! There were many comments from the staff as to how lovely the program was, how well the Band played, the 4 narrators read, and the Choir and school community sang.
