School Highlights
Refugee Night
To conclude our Term 3 learning about immigration and refugees, the Year 6 students engaged in an overnight experience at school where their goal was to sleep rough in shelters they constructed themselves (some opted for a tent) and create basic meals using steamed rice as a base. It was a unique night where we battled the wind, rain and even hail, and made some long lasting memories.
Laura: We won a contest and had some hot chocolate!
Tiana: Our home made shelter was great as was our chilli chips with rice.
Micah: I liked making sushi with the ingredients we brought with my 'family'.
Blessing: Sleeping outside in the shelters when it was so cold!

Foundation Students Make a Splash
The Foundation students splashed their way through the final week of Term 3 as they completed their Swimming Week at Clovercrest State Swim pool.
Students learnt essential water activity skills such as floating, helping someone in trouble while at the side of the pool and different swimming strokes. Just in time for summer!
