SAPSASA Athletics

In Week 7, Prescott Primary Northern were represented at the SAPSASA District Sports Day by sixteen of our students from Year 4 - 7. The day allowed our students to display their talents in shot -put, discus, high jump, long jump, sprints and relays. A number of factors stood out as our team took to the track and field: determination, talent and comradery. While we continued through the day with some place getters and some not, as a group, our students persevered and even attempted new events for the first time.

I am excited to announce that four of our students have qualified for the next athletics day and they are Jonah Hatchard, Ashton Hong, Monique Badea and Seth Robson.

Thank you for the support of the families who cheered on our team, assisted the day to run smoother, and particularly Micah Hatchard for his foresight at events such as these.
