School Highlights
Year 3's open Prescott's very first Gaming Arcade
For the past term, the Year 3 students have been busy designing and making Arcade Games out of recycled materials. Students started the design process by researching different Arcade Games and creating a detailed drawing and plan. Using recycled materials and everyday items from around the classroom, students then got busy making and creating their games. Their problem solving skills were put to the test, as they had to modify and adapt their games as they built, to ensure they worked properly. Students also created their own tickets, access passes and prizes to entice others to choose their game. After having a year level 'come and play session', the Year 3's invited their Foundation buddy classes to come and enjoy their games. All of the students had an amazing time, with lots of laughs and friendly banter.
