School Highlights
The Year 3A Class has started the Urban Garden Project Based Learning
Our goal to design a sustainable, Urban Garden. Our aim is to create a space that is dynamic, vibrant and innovative, a place where people can relax and play. The garden will need to pass through a rigorous application process that considers its environmental impact with a particular focus on renewable power sources and sustainable water practices.
These photos show the planning activity based on Cultures of Thinking called "See, Think, Wonder" about URBAN GARDEN.
International Students
Over the last 5 weeks, we have been blessed to share our school with 9 international students from China. Last week we said goodbye to 7 of these great students and wish them all the best as they return home to China.
Mandy Foot visits PPN
On Tuesday, the Years 3-7 classes were visited by author and illustrator Mandy Foot. She spoke to the students about the art of illustrating and the process of how her drawings become illustrations in picture books.
She demonstrated how to draw a pelican and then students created their own picture of a pelican using basic drawing techniques. The results were fabulous and a variety of unique, creative pelicans were created.
