Space Jam
Year 4 Excursion to Morialta Nature Playground
On Friday 18th October, the Year 4's went on an excursion to Morialta Nature Playground. The purpose for the Excursion was to teach the students safe play and to make them aware that they can use their local community to engage in physical activity.
Robogals
Robogals is an initiative by Adelaide University to encourage more students (girls in particular) to consider careers in Engineering, Computer Science and Robotics. On Tuesday, ROBOGALS visited the Year 4/5 STEM Enrichment groups for an incursion about robotics. The students had lots of fun learning how to code their EV3 Lego robots to do simple tasks like move in a square. By the end of the day, the students had developed more complex coding skills, so their robots could be involved in team sumo battles. At the end of the day, Rudra, Dhrupad and Sean and their robot named Glados were the clear victors!
