Chaplain's Remarks
Good afternoon PPN Families.
I wanted to share a Bible verse that comes to mind when I'm in the middle of worshiping.
He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD. – Psalms 40:3 NLT
Singing is such a powerful way to connect with God and with each other. If you've ever been in Chapel, you know what a wonderful feeling it is to hear so many voices praising the Lord together.
The lyrics of one of my favourite songs, "Time and Time Again" by a group called Local Sound, beautifully reflects a gratitude for God's never-ending kindness and nearness and how He has been faithful to us throughout our lives even when we may not see it.
Every single morning, You are making all things new
Even in confusion, You are my point of view
Hope arise within me as I cling to what You've said
And I have seen Your faithfulness time and time again
You are with us
King through all the ages
From glory to glory
You will keep the promise
Of Your presence
Alpha and Omega
Author of redemption
Beginning to the end

I will trust Your word, You are the truth, the life, the way
And I have seen Your faithfulness time and time again...
These lyrics and the verse from Psalms are a wonderful encouragement to share the amazing things God has done for us. When we sing praises to Him, it can influence those around us to also want to love and trust in Him.
Let’s sing out this new song loudly so that others can experience the great joy we have in Jesus.
