Harmony Week 2025 – Everyone Belongs at PPN
What an amazing week we had celebrating Harmony Week 2025 with the theme "Everyone Belongs!" Each day was packed with exciting activities that helped us learn about different cultures while having loads of fun!
Monday – Mrs. Pridmore and Mrs. A got us moving with the Greek Zorba dance, and we all had a blast trying out the steps!
Tuesday – Things got a little messy (but super fun!) as we made orange cloud slime with the legendary Mrs. Wood, since orange is the colour of Harmony Week!
Wednesday – Mrs. Buys took us on a cultural journey with Wakka Wakka South African movement to music, and we danced our hearts out!
Thursday – Our amazing students proudly shared their Samoan culture, with family members coming along to support them. We learned about traditional tattoos and were treated to a special Samoan performance—it was incredible! Plus, thanks to Mrs. Isaac and her team (including our wonderful Year 6 helpers), we got to enjoy delicious orange snow cones that day too!
Friday – A group of our teachers wowed us with Filipino dance moves, and in the dark, they used lanterns that looked like fireflies—it was magical! Everyone dressed in orange or traditional clothing, making our school an explosion of vibrant colours, just like the rainbow God created for us to enjoy!
To top it all off, our library looked incredible, decorated with beautiful artwork from every student, showing us their understanding of what Harmony Week means.
What a week! We celebrated, we learned, we moved to music, and most importantly, we showed that EVERYONE BELONGS!
Snow Cones raise $1100
A big thank you to our families for supporting our Prescott Community Snow Cone Fundraiser as part of Harmony Week. Together we raised about $1100 to go towards our new playground!
