This week has concluded our NAPLAN and everything went quite well.  Another exceptionally beautiful experience was the school tours which we had on Tuesday. We had parents looking to have their children join PPN mostly in Foundation for 2026.  

The highlight for me was the school captains’ speeches where they told the prospective parents about the things they have appreciated and enjoyed at PPN.  It was great to hear that among other things, our 2025 captains, all of whom have been here for seven years, appreciated the library as a learning space that encouraged them to read and gain knowledge beyond the classroom.  They talked about the Buddy system that allows them to have friendships with other year levels and the fun activities they do together.   They also spoke about our fundraising activities that go to help others in the school’s community.  Getting out of their comfort zones for school camps and the independence that has given them was mentioned.  Co-Curricular activities like music and sports were not missed as great opportunities to make new friends and build teamwork.  I felt very proud of our young people who demonstrated outstanding writing abilities and fantastic speaking skills.  Their school pride was evident in everything. 

It was pleasant to see the joy of our captains in sharing their experiences and so thankful because “your child matters.”  By extension, we all matter to God, and it is His will that we experience His goodness to us in the beautiful occurrences around us.
