Story Time with PPN
On Monday we invited our little people, yet to start school, into our library for craft and story time. The beautiful thing about connecting with youngsters who are not yet talking, is the enhanced use of every other sense they can use. As we met around craft tables, containing cut outs of people joined together by hearts, our visitors decorated with sequins while adults chatted and became a part of Harmony Week at PPN. Mrs Blyde shared a story which reminded families that schools are a place where everyone is welcome. PPN is no exception to this message and Story Time is just one of many spaces where this can be seen and celebrated.

Nature Play
Bugs that crawl and bees that fly, can you spot the wings go by?
Patterns and textures all around, some on trees and some on the ground.
Nature play invites our PPN kids to investigate and let their curiosity guide them through the yard. This week it was all about bugs. Bugs to find, bugs to discover and bugs to create. As our students used paint pens to make bugs on rocks they recalled stories of finding grass hoppers at the start of the term in the nature play and beetles that they could hold. The beautiful bugs they made were very creative. What bugs can you discover in your backyard or community, maybe you could go on a bug hunt and find out?
