The Chaplaincy team is eagerly preparing for our lower primary concert Christmas Carols! We’re excited to be accompanied by Prescott College and their wonderfully talented students. Prescott College has a second to none music program lead by the esteemed Mr Kevin Lozada who’ll be making an appearance. Mr Andrew Talbot teaches drama at Prescott College, and we’re excited to see what they have in stall for us upon entering our festive evening. As we approach Christmas, the atmosphere here at PPN changes. The students are getting excited, and the staff have newfound gust of energy. At the beginning of this week, we celebrated Remembrance Day. A sombre reminder of those who sacrificed themselves for our freedom here in Australia. It creates a unique time of year where we can reflect on not only the celebration of life, as Christmas celebrates our saviour’s birth. But the solemn reminder that not only did Jesus come to show us the way but sacrifice himself so that we may know the freedom of eternal life with Him.

As the Christmas season begins, lets be mindful that its more than just Christmas trees, presents and fat men in red suits.
