What are you thankful for this week? 

We had our school tours on Tuesday this week and met lots of prospective students and their families.  It was interesting to watch the interactions of all the parties involved.  

 The teachers’ enthusiasm about what they do and how they achieve great results in their rooms was unmatched.  Well done, team!   

The children, some of whom started out a bit shy or uncertain, warmed up as they came into the colourful learning areas and the great outdoor spaces we have here.   

The school captains, now in Year 6, made fantastic reflections on their years at the school and very proudly shared their school highlights with the audience.   

Parents, as expected of people seeking the best for their children, listened to each presentation attentively and asked questions about things they needed clarification on.   

At the end of the evening, three sets of tours and loads of information, I went home thankful for a great learning environment with so many creative ways of making learning happen for each of our students.  I was thankful for an awesome bunch of current students as represented by the captains.  I was thankful for all staff in different areas who make things happen at the school.
