School Highlights
School is back!
Who was more excited on Day 1, the students or the teachers? Based on the smiles and laughter on display here at PPN it was difficult to tell!
As students reconnected with their friends and teachers welcomed their new classes to their rooms we were reminded about what makes our school so great – the people and the way we love and learn together.
Our biggest welcome goes to our new students and their families, especially our newest Foundation students. We hope you’ve been enjoying getting to know your wonderful teachers and new friends, as you explore our nature play space, complete fun activities in the classroom and learn all about school life.

Nature Play
It is always such an exciting time, finding new classrooms, meeting new teachers and friends. It was our very first day back in the nature play space this year. It was lovely seeing old faces and some new ones as well. And, as always, the smiles on the faces as they came into the nature playground eager to see what was available to play.
This week, we had some ice blocks, filled with all kind of different treasures, flowers, leaves and even some small animals. The students enjoyed chipping away and melting the ice with water droplets and revealing the treasures inside. Some students were very eager to find what was stored away inside the big and small blocks of ice. It was also a chance to stay nice and cool, touching and playing with the cold ice!
How does your family keep cool when the days are warm and sunny? Have you tried freezing some treasures in ice??
