Chaplain's Remarks
Hey PPN Family,
I was blessed to spend a couple of weeks in Europe with my wife over the school holidays. I spent a lot of my time there just celebrating and enjoying the blessings of God. I find that I am always a lot happier when I focus on acknowledging and appreciating the blessings that God has given me, and conversely, I am a lot unhappier when I focus on the things that I don’t have.
In Psalms 105:1-2 we read, “Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds.”
Taking time out each day to thank God for the great things that he has done for us, fills our lives with greater joy.
I would like to remind you of a couple of programs that we are running this week, which will also bring you some joy:
· Tomorrow, the NED’s Mindset Mission Team will be taking our chapels, and they will be sharing some fun tips on how to have more happiness and joy in life. Yo-Yos will be available for purchase at lunchtime tomorrow, and also on certain days over the next week. Please refer to the order form below for more information.
· We are also running Connect 4 on Saturday night August 6. This will be a fun night for the family, and a free dinner will be provided. You will need to register for this event using this link https://forms.office.com/r/u844WcjtEs or the QR code below:
Please note that registrations will close at 4pm, Friday August 5.
Blessings,
PPN Chaplaincy Team
