Surviving and Thriving Online
With more and more of life heading online, it can be difficult to manage the amount of time our children spend in front of a screen. Managing what they are seeing and doing is, often, an even more difficult task.
The eSafety Commissioner is offering a series of free webinars to give parents and carers the knowledge, skills and tools to support their children to have safe online experiences.
Term 1 Webinar
This free webinar offers tips about how to support your child to socialise, learn, and have fun online safely.
Designed for parents and carers of children aged 5 to 12 years old, the webinar explains how to access information, use technology safely and navigate new online platforms. Including:
· how to talk to young people about online risks on different social media platforms and games
· how to help young people develop skills to protect themselves when they are online
· where to go for help if things go wrong and how to access mental health support and information through eSafety.
Join this Webinar by registering for one of the two timeslots below:
· Thursday 10 February 12.30 to 1.30 pm
· Wednesday 23 February 7.30 to 8.30 pm
