Year 6 Visits to Prescott College
Last week, the Year 6s were able to start their last group of lessons at Prescott College. They have really enjoyed the Science, Design Tech and Cooking lessons and were super relieved that covid restrictions did not stop them from visiting.
Creative Writing Enrichment
A group of students, participating in the Creative Writing Enrichment group have been working hard at writing their own picture books for the Junior Primary students, ready to launch in time for Book Week. Last Friday, these Year 4 students spent the morning reading their wonderful stories to the Year 1 students. A copy of their books are now available in the Discovery Centre for everyone to enjoy. I am sure you will enjoy these great stories, students. Well done, Creative Writers!

Late Winter Veggie Blessings - Nature Play
As part of the Nature Play space, the students at Prescott Primary Northern have regular access to a beautiful Veggie Garden. This week, students were able to engage with some of the fresh herbs and vegetables that have been growing throughout this winter season. Students were delighted by the vibrant colours of beetroots, silverbeet, pink radishes and rainbow chard, along with the various scents of fresh coriander, parsley and horseradish. It was wonderful to see students name and engage with some of the vegetables they know and enjoy at home, as well as learning about some new vegetables, where they come from, and how they are grown!
